SIA Group, a Gordon Brothers company, was founded as an asset valuation and auction house in the early 1990’s. The company has grown exponentially from an office in Brighton to eight regional offices with the head office located near St Paul’s and is considered one of the pre-eminent asset valuation and auction specialists in the UK today. SIA Group was acquired by Gordon Brothers in 2025.
We work for asset based lenders, banks, financial institutions, restructuring and turnaround professionals, financial sponsors, corporate and public bodies in the valuation and disposal of tangible and intangible assets.

Paul Craig
ACIS | MABRP | Managing Director
Paul Craig serves as leader of SIA Group’s advisory services which is responsible for the focused valuation and advisory service that serves asset based lenders, banks, finance houses and corporate recovery specialists. He joined SIA Group in June 2011 and has over 22 years experience in the financial services and banking industry having worked in various roles at Investec Bank plc, The Royal Bank of Scotland plc, and GoIndustry DoveBid plc. Paul has undertaken and advised on numerous high profile asset based lending assignments and work-outs in the UK and Europe for most of the UK’s leading asset based lenders, banks, private equity houses and restructuring firms.

Matt Earl
MRICS | Operations Director
Matt Earl joined SIA Group in October 2011 and serves as head of operations across the group. He is a RICS qualified Chartered Surveyor and has been providing valuation advice and disposal services to the financial sector and corporate clients for over 20 years. He started his career at Lombard Asset Finance / The Royal Bank of Scotland plc and prior to joining SIA he was the Head of Valuation Operations at GoIndustry DoveBid plc. Matt has undertaken numerous machinery, equipment and inventory appraisals and disposals in the UK, Europe and North America. These include accelerated inventory realisation programmes, work-outs and pan-European combined plant and machinery and inventory appraisals for UK, European and USA asset based lenders, banks and restructuring professionals.

Simon Morgan
FNAVA | Chairman
Simon Morgan founded SIA Group in the 1990′s and serves as Chairman. He brings to this role more than 30 years of asset valuation and disposal experience, as well as expertise in auctioneering. A regular and accomplished auctioneer, he is a Fellow and committee member of the National Association of Valuers and Auctioneers (NAVA) and has been involved in the valuation and disposal of a diverse range of assets on numerous high profile assignments over the years. Simon has considerable experience in most industry sectors and has specific expertise in the valuation of aviation assets and contentious insolvency matters.

Ian Dyer
ACMA, CGMA, ABL Director
Ian Dyer heads up SIA’s market leading ABL Services team, with specific focus on Inventory. Having joined SIA back in June 2014 and following roles with GoIndustry Dovebid Plc and Edward Symmons, Ian has over 20 years of ABL experience, advising on numerous high-profile inventory backed lends in the UK, Europe and in North America. As a Chartered Management Accountant, Ian brings with him a wealth of knowledge in various industries which underpins his Inventory ABL appraisal capabilities.

Mark Driscoll
Commercial Director
Mark Driscoll joined SIA Group in January 2016 and serves as Head of Sales, responsible for work generation across the business. Mark has over 20 years of experience in the financial services and banking industry having worked on numerous risk and new business roles at various organisations, starting his career at The Royal Bank of Scotland Plc, onto the Bank of Ireland and then as an independent auditor. Mark has undertaken and advised on asset based lending assignments, work outs and has worked closely with banks, asset based lenders, private equity houses and restructuring firms across the UK, Europe and USA.

Paul Beveridge
Non-Executive Consultant
Paul Beveridge joined SIA Group in April 2022 as a Non-Executive Consultant working with the Board and the wider team to assist the Group with growth, strategy and business development. Paul has over 35 years’ experience in the lending industry with over 25 years at Board level. Paul has led three start up Asset Based Lending businesses for international banks and a global conglomerate, all of which were successful. Most recently Paul was the founder and CEO of PNC Business Credit UK, the UK’s largest Asset Based Lender, working with Clients, Private Equity and the Advisory community.
